OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: 01 SOLE SCHOLARSHIP AWARD FOR THE TOP 16 OF THE SCVN LEADERBOARD - 2027

NATIONWIDE SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY STUDENT BADMINTON | VND 100,000,000 - WITH THE SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 FINAL TOURNAMENT

Version 4.1 – 06/11/2026

SELECTION PRINCIPLE
The national leaderboard selects exactly 16 eligible athletes from the rank group 1–20. The athletes compete in person at the SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 tournament. The eligible champion is the person considered for the award of the sole VND 100,000,000 scholarship.

CHAPTER I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1. Name, nature and purpose

1. Program name: SCVN National Student Badminton Ranking Scholarship 2027 (hereinafter the “Scholarship Program”).

2. Entity that builds and operates the leaderboard, organizes the SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 Final Tournament and sponsors the scholarship: Sport Challenge Vietnam Co., Ltd (CÔNG TY TNHH SPORT CHALLENGE VIỆT NAM); Enterprise code/Tax code: 0319364474; address: 254/9/20 Tây Thạnh, Tây Thạnh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; representative according to the information published on the SCVN website: Mr. Trần Viết Thụy; email: support@scvn.vn; hotline: 0903 116 140.

3. This is a program that supports the promotion of learning and encourages physical development and sporting spirit among school and university students. Candidates are selected based on badminton results that have been recorded and verified and on rank on the national Student Badminton leaderboard compiled by SCVN and published on scvn.vn under Article 7; the scholarship recipient is determined through the results of the SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 Final Tournament under these Official Rules.

4. SCVN operates the platform, receives and verifies data, calculates the leaderboard, selects candidates, organizes the SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 Final Tournament, checks the recipient's eligibility and carries out the award of the scholarship. The Final Tournament is a centralized competition organized by the Company/SCVN under a separate plan, Technical Regulations and notices published before the tournament.

5. Registering an account, having results recorded, being ranked, being selected and being considered for the scholarship do not depend on buying, renewing or using a Pro/Elite plan. SCVN does not charge a fee for an individual to be considered for the scholarship and does not charge a fee to attend the SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 Final Tournament. Fees to attend other tournaments, if any, are collected by each tournament Organizer. Support for the cost of attending the SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 Final Tournament, if any, is announced together with the list of 16 athletes.

6. Purpose of the scholarship: to support learners in continuing their studies, training physically, developing their sporting ability and maintaining their education; it is not a payment for services, wages, remuneration or a benefit reserved for customers who buy services.

Article 2. Value and the single-recipient principle

1. The Company sponsors only one (01) scholarship award worth VND 100,000,000 (in words: One hundred million Vietnamese dong) for exactly one (01) individual who is currently a school student or university student, meets all conditions of the Official Rules, has been validly selected and wins the championship of the SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 Final Tournament.

2. There is no scholarship award for second place, third place, side prizes or tied places. The scholarship award is not split among several people. An individual may receive this scholarship only once.

3. The amount of VND 100,000,000 is the announced value of the scholarship before any mandatory taxes or financial obligations (if the law determines that any arise). The Company determines the nature of the income and the exemption/withholding file, and performs tax obligations under the regulations at the time of payment; the scholarship is not automatically treated as tax-exempt if the legal conditions have not been met.

4. The scholarship is paid by bank transfer to the recipient's account or by another lawful method supported by documents. For a minor, verification, preparing the file, and receiving and managing the scholarship must involve a parent/legal guardian as prescribed.

5. The scholarship is funded from the Company's lawful budget. The Company issues internal decisions on establishing the Program, approving the budget, organizing the tournament and deciding the recipient, and keeps the documents for the award of the scholarship.

Article 3. Time and scope of scholarship consideration

1. 2027 scholarship qualifying period: from 00:00 on 01/01/2027 to 23:59:59 on 31/12/2027, Vietnam time (UTC+7). Data lock time: 23:59:59 on 31/12/2027.

2. Scope of consideration: nationwide in Vietnam, on the national Student Badminton leaderboard compiled by SCVN and published on scvn.vn under Article 7.

3. After the data lock, SCVN verifies candidates, finalizes the list of exactly 16 athletes and organizes the SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 Final Tournament on the published schedule. If there are not 16 eligible athletes within the selection range set out in Article 7, or there is no champion eligible to receive the scholarship, the Company does not award the 2027 period scholarship and proceeds under Article 13.

4. SCVN publishes the verification schedule, the complaint deadline, the time of the tournament and the time of the announcement of results on its official channels before the data lock date.

CHAPTER II. PERSONS COVERED AND ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

Article 4. Persons eligible for consideration

1. Persons eligible for consideration are individuals who are school students or university students at a lawful educational institution in Vietnam at the time of the data lock, at the time of attending the Final Tournament and at the time of verification of eligibility to receive the scholarship.

2. “School student” means a person currently enrolled in a general education program or an equivalent program. “University student” means a person currently enrolled at a lawful vocational education institution or higher education institution.

3. The following are not covered: persons who completed or ended their studies before the data lock date; teachers, coaches and school staff who do not also hold student status; persons who cannot prove their student status; organization accounts or accounts that do not represent an individual.

4. SCVN verifies the student status of individuals in the TOP 1–20 group from a valid school or university student card or confirmation from the educational institution (a certificate of current enrollment, electronic confirmation) or an equivalent document. Only data necessary for the purposes of verification and awarding the scholarship is collected.

Article 5. Community size condition

1. The activation condition for considering the award of the scholarship is that SCVN reaches at least 100,001 eligible individual students across the whole system at the time of the data lock.

2. An eligible student for this condition is the real account of one individual with a declared school in the SCVN app. Each individual is counted only once, linked to one unique SC_UID. Duplicate accounts, test accounts, and accounts that are fake or have been found to be fraudulent are not counted. The student document check under clause 4 of Article 4 applies only to individuals in the TOP 1–20 group.

3. It is not required that all 100,001 students buy Pro/Elite or have competition results. The community size condition is independent of the individual conditions for receiving the scholarship.

4. SCVN keeps a consolidated report on the number of eligible students, the deduplication method and the cut-off time; personal data that is not necessary is not made public.

Article 6. Competitive activity conditions for individuals under consideration

An individual is eligible to be selected for the list of scholarship candidates only if that individual meets all of the following conditions at the same time:

  1. Has at least 180 days of valid competitive activity, counted from the date of the first valid match to the data lock date.
  2. Has at least 50 valid badminton singles matches recorded on the SCVN app during the qualifying period; doubles matches, friendly matches without a separate individual result, or matches lacking verification do not count toward this threshold.
  3. Has played against at least 25 different opponent SC_UIDs in the valid matches counted.
  4. Has results in at least 10 badminton tournaments/events validly created and recorded in the SCVN app; each tournament/event must be an SC tournament with results approved by SCVN, with organizing information or a match schedule, results and at least one counted valid match of the individual. These tournaments/events are held by the corresponding schools, clubs or organizing entities; they are not automatically counted as the SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 Final Tournament. Each tournament Organizer publishes the scoring format before the tournament takes place.
  5. Results have been confirmed under the SCVN process, with complete data on the players, time, result and necessary evidence.
  6. Valid student records; account not suspended on the data lock date.
  7. No concluded anti-fraud violation and no unresolved material complaint.
  8. SCVN ensures that enough SC tournaments are organized or approved during the qualifying period for athletes at LV4 and above.

The first day of activity is not the account creation date if no valid match has taken place on that date. SCVN may require additional evidence for an abnormal match or series of results.

Article 7. Leaderboard, TOP 16 selection and reserve list

1. One single national Student Badminton leaderboard is used, compiled by SCVN and published monthly on scvn.vn, ranked by cumulative badminton SC points; the scholarship is not separated by gender or education level. For persons under 16 years of age, the public leaderboard shows only a shortened name. SCVN may display this leaderboard in the SCVN app when the feature is available. The leaderboard is the basis for ordering the priority of selecting candidates to attend the Final Tournament; leaderboard rank does not automatically decide the scholarship recipient.

2. After the data lock, SCVN reviews the leaderboard and the conditions in Article 4, Article 5, Article 6 and Article 10 to prepare the selection list in rank order from TOP 1 to TOP 20.

3. SCVN gives priority to verifying, in turn, the individuals ranked TOP 1–16. Where an individual is not eligible, is removed after verification, declines to attend, does not complete the file or cannot attend according to the valid schedule, SCVN considers, in turn, the next individual in the TOP 17–20 group as a replacement, until there are 16 eligible athletes.

4. The reserve list is limited to the TOP 17–20 group. Replacement must follow leaderboard order and be supported by recorded reasons and a verification file. There shall be no arbitrary selection, and no higher-ranked person may be skipped if that person remains eligible and confirms attendance.

5. Only when 16 eligible athletes within the TOP 1–20 group have been verified and confirmed does SCVN finalize the official list and hold the Final Tournament in the 16-athlete format. If there are not 16 eligible people, or any condition in clause 1 of Article 12 is missing, Article 13 applies and the scholarship moves to the 2028 period.

6. The leaderboard is calculated using the SCVN ranking algorithm version locked for the qualifying period, with an audit trail; the formula is not published. The scoring rules, input data and applicable version must be determined in advance, have a change log and be auditable.

7. Formulas, weights or data shall not be changed retroactively in a way that alters the selection order after the lock date, except to correct an error supported by evidence, deal with fraud or resolve a complaint. All changes must have an audit log and appropriate notice.

Article 8. Tie-break rules for selection

If two or more individuals have the same displayed score at a position that affects the TOP 16–20 list, the following apply in order, on the locked data:

  1. The exact ranking score according to the value stored in the system, not rounded as in the interface.
  2. The higher number of valid singles matches counted in the qualifying period.
  3. The higher win rate in valid singles matches.
  4. The head-to-head result between the tied individuals, if there is sufficient valid data.
  5. If an objective decision is still not possible, SCVN temporarily postpones finalizing the position concerned, organizes an independent review and announces a well-founded solution; candidates are not chosen arbitrarily.

The tie-break rules must be published before the qualifying period; no new criteria are applied after the identities of the candidates are known.

CHAPTER III. SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 FINAL TOURNAMENT

Article 9. Format and organizing principles of the tournament

1. The Final Tournament is named SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 and consists of 16 athletes who have been verified and placed on the finalized list under Article 7. “RO-KO” is a format combining a single round-robin group stage and a knockout stage.

2. Group stage: the 16 athletes are divided into 04 groups, A, B, C and D; each group has 04 athletes. Each athlete plays a single round-robin against the 03 other athletes in the group. Each group has 06 matches; the whole group stage has 24 matches.

3. The top two athletes in each group qualify for the quarter-finals, 08 athletes in total.

4. The knockout stage consists of: quarter-finals, 04 matches; semi-finals, 02 matches; final, 01 match. The expected total number of matches for the whole tournament is 31, not including friendly matches or matches arising from technical handling.

5. Quarter-final pairings follow the cross-group principle: A1 plays B2; B1 plays A2; C1 plays D2; D1 plays C2. Quarter-final winners advance to the semi-finals; semi-final winners advance to the final. The bracket is published before the group stage starts.

6. The method of dividing the groups, the seeding/draw principles, the match schedule, the number of games per match, match scoring and the specialist technical rules are issued by SCVN in the tournament's Technical Regulations and published before play. No change unfavorable to athletes may be made after the tournament starts, except in a force majeure event or where required to ensure safety and fairness.

7. Group stage results are ranked under the rules published in the Technical Regulations. The Technical Regulations must set out in advance the order of criteria for ties, including at least the head-to-head result (where appropriate), game difference, point difference and a final objective deciding criterion.

8. The tournament is held in person at the venue and time announced by SCVN. SCVN arranges referees/specialist personnel and keeps the official records, results and necessary evidence. Each match must clearly identify the players, time, score and completion status.

9. Athletes must attend in person, present verification documents on request, and comply with the match schedule and the referee's instructions. Playing on behalf of another person, unauthorized substitution, match-fixing, deliberately losing/winning or unauthorized influence on results is strictly prohibited.

10. An athlete who withdraws, arrives later than the time limit set in the Technical Regulations, refuses to play or commits a violation leading to being declared the loser will be dealt with under the Technical Regulations. Where this affects the validity of the tournament or eligibility to receive the scholarship, SCVN has the right to review, suspend or remove the athlete under Article 10.

11. Before the tournament, SCVN publishes the rules on medical matters, safety, attire, equipment, technical complaints, handling of withdrawals and force majeure situations.

Article 10. Verification, anti-fraud and handling of violations

1. Violations include: creating or using duplicate accounts, impersonating an identity or borrowing an account; falsely declaring student status, forging documents; match-fixing, collusion, deliberately losing/winning, creating fake matches; manipulating points, the leaderboard, GPS/QR, image evidence or match data; playing on behalf of another person or unauthorized substitution; unauthorized interference with the app, API, data or confirmation process; threatening, bribing or pressuring to change results.

2. Before the tournament, SCVN verifies the identity, student status, SC_UID, match history, opponents, events and any abnormal signs of each selected candidate. SCVN may require a check against original documents or confirmation from the educational institution to the extent necessary.

3. During the tournament, SCVN may verify the person playing in person and keep official records, images/video, match data and referee confirmation. Athletes are responsible for cooperating in verification and providing truthful information.

4. After the tournament, SCVN reviews the results, files and abnormal signs again before confirming that the champion is eligible to receive the scholarship.

5. Depending on the severity and the evidence, SCVN may cancel a match, adjust a result, declare a loss, suspend, remove from the tournament or remove from the scholarship qualifying period. All decisions affecting eligibility to receive the scholarship must have a basis, be documented and be logged.

6. Technical control measures may include verification of location and match evidence, detection of abnormal frequency, checks on opponent relationships, device/account reconciliation, review of series of results and data audits. Detailed technical thresholds may be set out in anti-fraud operating regulations that have been validly published.

7. Athletes have the right to request an explanation of decisions directly affecting their eligibility and to file a complaint under Article 11. A person with a conflict of interest does not take part in verifying or deciding the case.

Article 11. Review, complaint and announcement process

1. After the data lock, SCVN prepares a leaderboard snapshot, a list of counted matches, the student verification status and a community size report; at the same time, it prepares a list of TOP 1–20 candidates for verification in order.

2. SCVN announces the verification results and the official list of 16 athletes, together with support for the cost of attending the Final Tournament (if any); for any replacement from TOP 17–20, the reasons and evidence must be kept.

3. During the tournament, complaints about technical matters, match results or violations are sent to the contact point and within the time limit set in the Technical Regulations. Referees/the Organizer record and consider them and announce decisions under the published process.

4. After the tournament, SCVN checks the champion's file, announces the preliminary results and opens a complaint period of 15 calendar days regarding eligibility to receive the scholarship, counted from the date the preliminary results are announced.

5. Complaints are sent by email to support@scvn.vn or as instructed at scvn.vn; the content needs to state the complainant, the issue, the grounds and the evidence. SCVN confirms receipt and handles the complaint within a reasonable time; if the case is complex, SCVN gives notice of the extension and the reasons.

6. After handling complaints, the Company issues a decision determining the scholarship recipient and announces the final result; personal data that is not necessary is not disclosed.

CHAPTER IV. DECISION AND AWARD OF THE SCHOLARSHIP

Article 12. File, decision and payment of the scholarship

1. The scholarship is awarded only when all of the following are met at the same time: (i) there are at least 100,001 eligible students; (ii) there are 16 eligible athletes selected under Article 7; (iii) the SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 Final Tournament is validly held; (iv) there is a champion who meets all conditions of the Official Rules; and (v) review and complaint handling are complete.

2. The person considered for the award of the scholarship is the athlete who wins the championship of the SCVN RO-KO FINAL 16 Final Tournament, provided that at the time of final confirmation that athlete still meets student status, the competitive activity conditions, the anti-fraud rules and the other conditions of the Official Rules.

3. The scholarship award file includes at least: the Company's decision establishing/approving the Scholarship Program and its budget; the published Official Rules; the report finalizing the student community size; the leaderboard snapshot; the TOP 1–20 verification file and the list of 16 athletes; the Technical Regulations, official records and tournament results; the review/anti-fraud report; the file proving student status; the decision awarding the scholarship; the confirmation record and payment documents.

4. The recipient provides documents verifying identity and student status, the details of the receiving account and, if a minor, the legal representative's file. The Company requests only necessary data and processes it under the personal data protection regulations.

5. The Company pays within 30 working days from the date the final result is announced and the complete valid file is received, except in a force majeure event or where there is a lawful request from a competent authority.

6. If the champion refuses the scholarship, does not complete the file within 30 days from a valid notice, no longer meets the conditions or is found to have committed a violation that causes loss of eligibility to receive the scholarship, the Company does not automatically transfer the scholarship to the runner-up or another individual. The Program has only one scholarship award; a non-award is handled under Article 13.

7. The Company prepares a scholarship confirmation record and bank transfer/receipt documents. The tax file is handled according to the legal nature of the payment and the regulations in force at the time of payment.

Article 13. Conditions not met and carry-over to the 2028 period

1. If by the 2027 data lock date there are not 100,001 eligible students; or 16 eligible athletes within the TOP 1–20 group cannot be verified; or the Final Tournament cannot be validly held; or there is no champion who meets all conditions, the Company does not award the 2027 period scholarship.

2. The Company carries over only the VND 100,000,000 scholarship budget to the 2028 qualifying period; there is still only one (01) scholarship award, it does not accumulate into two awards and no additional scholarship award arises.

3. The 2028 period is expected to run from 01/01/2028 to 31/12/2028. The individual conditions continue to apply: at least 180 days of activity, 50 valid singles matches, 25 different opponents and at least 10 valid tournaments/events that are SC tournaments approved by SCVN. The mechanism for selecting the TOP 16 from the TOP 1–20 group and the RO-KO FINAL 16 Final Tournament continue to apply, unless the Company issues new Official Rules before the qualifying period.

4. If the conditions are still not met at the end of 31/12/2028, the Company ends the Program. The unawarded budget is handled by a written decision of the Company, in accordance with the law, accounting rules and tax obligations; the Company announces the necessary information. There is no automatic carry-over indefinitely.

5. The Company announces the carry-over and the Official Rules applicable to the 2028 period before continuing to record results.

CHAPTER V. RIGHTS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND EFFECT

Article 14. Rights and responsibilities of the Company/SCVN

1. The Company approves the budget, issues the Scholarship Program, the Official Rules, and the plan and Technical Regulations of the Final Tournament, and decides the scholarship recipient. 3. Publish the conditions, the scholarship consideration schedule, the TOP 16 selection process, the tournament schedule and format, the results and contact information.

2. Provide accurate information, maintain a personal account, comply with the rules for recording and verifying results; cooperate in the verification of the file and attend the tournament if selected.

3. Be entitled to check their own results, request data correction and file complaints under the Official Rules and the Technical Regulations.

4. Be responsible for the authenticity of the documents and information provided; comply with valid technical decisions of referees/the Organizer; not commit fraud or affect the fairness of the tournament.

5. Minors must have a parent/legal guardian cooperating in the verification, attendance and scholarship receipt procedures as prescribed.

Article 16. Amendment, force majeure and effect

1. The Official Rules take effect from the date they are signed and issued by the Company's legal representative or validly authorized person and published on SCVN's official channels.

2. All amendments must be made in writing and announced publicly; there shall be no unfavorable retroactive application or change of criteria after the data has been locked/candidates have been selected, except where mandatorily required by law or to handle fraud/technical errors supported by evidence.
